1. How can I help Discos Konfort?

You can write about us in your blogs, put a link in your website or post a nice comment on myspace or flickr.

2. Do you include DJ's in your artists roster?

Sorry, no. Though we usually invite DJs to tour shows, we are a strictly live acts collective

3. How do I send you a demo?

We are looking for innovative material so, you can send us not just music, but video, design, multimedia arts... everything you can express in an innovative way.

We prefer to hear your music on Soundcloud so please use our Dropbox:

Send us your demo

Or, better yet, get a Soundcloud account, upload your music and then send it to us with a message to our account:

www.soundcloud.com/discoskonfort

Please be explicit about what you are looking for. For example, are you submitting the material to be released in our netlabel or do you want us to release it for sale? Would you consider us using one of your tracks for a compilation release or do you want a release of your own?

Soundcloud is better for us, and better for you too!

4. What does "Mínimas Texturas" and "Máximas Texturas" stand for?

The music in Konfort records is broadly divided into two groups: "Mínimas Texturas" covers the more experiemntal side of electronic music, from ambient to idm, minimal techno and similar styles. "Máximas Texturas" stands for the funkier side of electronica: downtempo, acid jazz, abstract hip hop, deep house and drum'n'bass.

5. Where can I get your releases?

Most of our releases are broadly distributed in all major digital stores like iTunes, eMusic, Amazon, etc.

But if you happen to be in Mexico and you want a hard copy of our releases, you can get them (except those out of print) at:

DISCOTECA
Citlaltepetl 23-C
Col. Condesa
México DF
52 12 02 34

6. What music styles does Konfort cover?

Electronic based music, broadly understood.
We are not guided so much by styles, but by the quality of the musical proposals. If you know our catalogue (and if you don't, what are you waiting for? Download some records now!), you may already know that we lean towards more leftfield electronic music.

7. Are you a recording studio?

No. Commonly, every artist makes his or her recordings on his or her own, sometimes with no other 'studio' but their own computers.
